A ZNS Survey Field Technician will direct and supervise a survey crew performing a variety of surveys, including but not limited to boundary, control, topographic, utility, construction stake-out and as-built surveys.
Responsibility Will Include:
- Performing surveys
- Communicating results of a survey in a clear, concise manner
- Operation and maintenance of survey equipment
- Directing and supervising a survey crew
Required Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency with general surveying practices, boundary control and legal principles
- Water and wastewater distribution systems
- Experience and proficiency with surveying equipment, including:
- Robotic total stations
- GPS survey equipment
- Data collectors
- Laptop computers
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience with land surveying
- Clean driving record
- Valid Florida driver’s license
